Biodiversity Garden

Life teems around us!

Biodiversity is the diversity of life in terms of ecosystems, species, populations and genes, as well as the interactions that take place within and between these levels. It is the balance that exists between every part of the living world that allows all life to coexist. But this balance is under severe strain and many species are becoming extinct each year, usually because their habitat is shrinking or lost.

Here, nature's flora and fauna have been allowed to take over. Several spaces have been created to provide shelter and cover for different species (dry-stone walls, an insect hotel, flower meadows, and more.).
