2017 paleontological field school

2017 paleontological field school

Following the success of the 2016 edition, the JURASSICA Museum will organize a new Paleontological Field School in Courtedoux (Canton of Jura, Switzerland) from August 14th to 25th, 2017. The Field School offers students a first-hand experience in paleontological field techniques in real conditions. The collected material will join the collections of the JURASSICA Museum and be used for ongoing research projects.

Up to 15 students from different nationalities will be selected to take part into the Field School. Applicants following a geological or biological curriculum and expressing a strong interest in paleontology will be given priority. Volunteers will be housed in Porrentruy (Canton of Jura, Switzerland) during the fieldwork.

Prospective students are invited to send their application before May 26th, 2017 (see announcement).
