The JURASSICA Museum, in collaboration with partner institutions in Armenia and Kazakhstan, is organizing an international paleontological field school from November 4-15, 2024 at Eo-/Miocene sites in these countries. This research-focused opportunity is specifically designed for advanced Geo- and Paleoscience students to collaborate with researchers and contribute to fieldwork. Students will actively participate in ongoing research at selected outcrops.
The Field School offers students a firsthand experience in paleontological field techniques in real conditions. The collected material will be used for ongoing research projects. A small teams of students under supervision of the researchers from the JURASSICA Museum will provide multidisciplanary geo- / palaeontological studies on selected outcrops.
