After studying urodeles during my Master project at the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, I am now doing my PhD at the JURASSICA Museum of Porrentruy in collaboration with the University of Fribourg. This thesis is part of FNS funded research project on the revision of the European "Grande Coupure": Compared analysis of the evolutionary and diversity dynamics between small and large herbivorous mammals. My goal will be to understand the evolution and diversity of the large perissodactyl mammals during the Eocene/Oligocene transition (‘Grande Coupure’) in Europe.

Keywords

Mammalia, Perissodactyla, Phylogeny, Diversity, Ecology, Grande Coupure, Eocene, Oligocene, Paleobiogeography
