Guided tour of the museum: temporary exhibition: PIG!
A more in-depth look at the theme of the latest exhibition. On this guided tour of our temporary exhibition, you will learn more about the topic through anecdotes and fun activities.

Guided tour of the museum: permanent exhibitions
See the Museum’s iconic exhibits on a tour that takes you back through time. From the Jurassic coastline to the plains of the last ice age, learn more about the geological eras that have left their mark on the natural history of the Jura.

Guided tour of the Botanical garden
Season by season, your guide will introduce you to the plants of the Jura region, the rose and iris beds, the tropical atmosphere of the greenhouses and the unmistakable scent of citrus in bloom. A fascinating exploration of the world of plants.

Guided tour of the Museum and Botanical garden

Banné archaeological dig
On Banné Hill above Porrentruy, find out what it’s like to work as a palaeontologist on an archaeological dig. You’ll be provided with the necessary equipment to get digging for real 152-million-year-old fossils and, with your guide’s help, have a go at identifying them. At the end of the session you can take your finds home with you.

Educational trail
Follow this educational trail through the woods and learn about the fossil history of the Jura region from the information boards along the way. The trail leads you to an area of limestone containing actual dinosaur footprints that have remained in place since they were left there 152 million years ago. With your guide, measure the footprints and piece together the moment when a dinosaur walked across this very spot.

Dinotec
The many dinosaur footprints visible on the site raises many fascinating questions about the dinosaurs. How big were they? Did they live on their own or in groups? How can we best study them, and what can we learn from these signs of their presence here 152 million years ago?

Damphreux marshes
The marshes and lakes at Damphreux, just 7 km from Porrentruy, are an important area of semi-natural wetlands where a large number of plants and animals can be observed. Working with the Damphreux Marshes Foundation, JURASSICA organises guided birdwatching and/or botanical tours.

Group tour with drink and nibbles
Before your office Christmas meal or other social gathering, take a guided tour of JURASSICA with your friends, colleagues and co-workers. Round off your visit with a drink and nibbles (e.g. appetizers, wine and soft drinks). Prices on request.
