By car

From Porrentruy, take the motorway towards Courtedoux. Exit at junction 3 "Chevenez-Fahy-Damvant". At the roundabout, take the fourth exit. There are parking spaces at the trailhead.

By public transport

CarPostal: Line 78, "Chevenez, Paléo Jura" stop.


Banné Excavation Area

On the Banné hill above Porrentruy, next to the picnic area and football pitches.

by car

From the railway station, follow signs for "Autres directions" for approx. 20 m; turn left towards Besançon at the roundabout by the Shell petrol station; continue straight on to the last crossroads, then follow signs for Besançon; head up Rue du Gravier, continuing straight on at the next crossroads; at the junction by the swimming pool, continue straight on; on the next left-hand bend, follow the signs! Parking is available at the Oiselier school. Follow the pedestrian signs (10 minutes' walk).

There are several disable parking spaces available close to the site on the Banné hill.

On foot

From Porrentruy railway station, follow the signs (30 minutes' walk).

by car

From Delémont via the Transjurane motorway (A16), take the exit onto the bridge on the right, then turn left after the bridge. When entering Porrentruy, take the first left.

From Porrentruy railway station, take the bridge over the railway line signposted Alle/Bâle. Just after leaving Porrentruy, take the road running down to the right.
