The JURASSICA Museum in Porrentruy is currently closed to the public as part of a major renovation and transformation project.
👉 Closure period: September 2025 to 2027 (estimated)
These works will modernise the museum and offer a completely renewed experience upon reopening.
Why is the Museum closed?
The Museum is undergoing a major renovation to:
- modernise its infrastructure
- renew its exhibitions
- improve the visitor experience
- further enhance its palaeontological collections
👉 Goal: to become a leading museum in Switzerland and internationally.
What can you do at JURASSICA during the closure?
Good news: JURASSICA remains open all year round thanks to its other sites!
