I am a PhD student in vertebrate palaeontology, especially turtle palaeontology. My PhD will try to estimate the ecology of Thalassochelydia, a group of marine turtles found in the Jurassic, notably in Switzerland, France and Germany. After obtaining a Bachelor degree in Biology in the University of Rennes, I obtained a Master degree in Bio-geosciences, with a specialty in Palaeontology, Paleo-environments and Heritage. During this master, I did an internship at the Jurassica Museum which led to my current doctorate. In addition to my PhD, I can also be part of different events (visits, exhibitions) within the Jurassica Museum.
Research thematics
- Geochemical analyses applied to the study of extant and fossil turtles’ ecology
- Study of morphological characteristics linked to the ecology of Thalassochelydia
- Cranial and postcranial morphology of Eurysternidae
