I am a PhD student at JURASSICA Museum and University of Fribourg, conducting research in paleontology with a particular focus on fossil mammals. My research focuses on the evolution and systematics of perissodactyls, in particular the Hippomorpha group (Equidae, Palaeotheriidae, and Brontotheriidae).
Research thematics
- Comparative anatomy and systematics of fossil perissodactyls
- Phylogeny and revision of hippomorphs.
- In-depth study of the phylogenetic position of Palaeotheriidae
- Analysis of cranial, postcranial, and dental characters; cladistic analyses and quantitative approaches (morphometrics, dental topography, enamel microstructure)
